Beauty dupes

I went back to wearing the Kiss Me mascara which is really great for holding a curl but is notorious for being difficult to move.

The one makeup remover that always gets the job done without fail is the Japanese drugstore eye makeup remover Bifesta ($10). I’ve used up many bottles.

Allure

The Daisy Jones and The Six crew at their premier. Wow! Beauty is simplicity.

Unconventional

Haeckels, a UK-based beauty brand that’s known for its sustainability effort in the space, has launched a skincare line with lab-grown bio-fabricated algae.

What does this mean?

It means, unlike La Mer, Haeckels no longer need to take the kelp from the ocean to put into their products. Pretty revolutionary.

Tea

Continued on The Daisy Jones and The Six topic. I found this out on TikTok (cannot find the post to link to 😢) but I noted the info down.

They used a lot of MAC products on Daisy.

For the stage look, they used MAC lip pencil in Brick (intense golden red)

For the 90s look in the interview, they used the MAC lip pencil in Chicory for a muted reddish brown look. Beautiful!
