The Beauty Dupe Alert Vol.9
Hey everyone -
We did a count yesterday and we’ve published 100 dupe alerts! This might not seem a lot, especially for me who is always self-critical; why didn’t we write a post every day? To give us some credit though, we have full-time jobs and this is a passion project that we genuinely love so much that we devoted our nights and weekends to it.
Again, we have you guys to thank for the support. Honestly, we are motivated by the views, clicks, and purchases (with almost no returns), meaning we are not creating digital waste for no value, which is ultimately what matters the most. Thank you!!
P.S. If you find value in anything we do here, we would appreciate it if you could forward this email or share our tiny-but-mighty site with your family and friends.
New Dupe Alerts
Katie Jane Hughes, the celebrity makeup artist, makes it really easy in her tutorial using brow flick. But for everyday non-artists people, it's quite hard.
Recently, people are discovering their Matte Perfection Tinted Moisturizer ($18) as a dupe for the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint ($32), although it is on sale right now which makes us very nervous that Sephora might discontinue it.
Ok…now to the star of the show, the Holifrog Sacred C Powder Wash ($44). It is essentially a fancier version of your usual powder wash. It is formulated with ascorbic acid (vitamin c), papaya enzyme, kojic acid, and different kinds of 'natural' powders other than rice bran power, like blueberry and raspberry power.
